Alternative Spring Break 2009

Rebuild New Orleans
New Orleans was devastated by Hurricane in 2005. Until this day the city is still try to rebuild. In the spirit of helping out others. The Student Affairs division is allowing students the opportunity to go to New Orleans to help with tearing down old buildings and working on new constructions in some of the worst hit areas of the city. Don’t fret….. it’s not all work you will have a chance to experience down home flavor and some Cajun cooking.

South Africa
South Africa is a country rich in history and natural resources, yet there is still a great need. Take the opportunity to international serve others. This trip will help a NGO in Cape Town in after school programs and in Pretoria beautify an elementary school with over 2,000 students.  This trips isn’t all work and no play. You will be able to see some of South Africa’s most treasured places like Table Mountain and Robben Island.
